The Arashi is a highly customized mid-tech collaboration project with Shawn Greacen, also known as BaliBalistic Knives. The design and components are similar to the Tempest but has been reworked with thicker handles and a much larger starting blade profile that is reprofiled to be customized in many different styles.
The blade is Shawn’s preferred 154CM and starts with a blade template that is similar to the Specter, but larger. Once the transformation to the multiple blade styles begins, the result is a stunning collection of hollow ground customs, including two tanto styles.
The handles have a similar pattern to the Tempest, but start as a beefier 3/16″ titanium stock that are CNC milled with modified deep slots. The handles are then individually rounded and finished, and anodized in different ways and colors. Handles are also made in zirconium and Moku Ti.
The Arashi sign up was on the JerzeeDevil forums and there are no slots currently available.
